Golden Fiddles is a charming, funny and dramatic story about a less fortunate Australian family; the parents, Anne (Kate Nelligan) and Walter (John Bach) who lives in poverty with their four children; Norman (Cameron Daddo), the oldest brother, Kitty (Rachel Friend), Elsa (Pippa Grandison) and little Bob, (Hamish Fletcher)who also is the narrator. They love each other endlessly and though they are poor and cannot buy material things, they appreciate other things like their health and little triumphs like winning a bakery contest. One day the mother, Anne (Kate Nelligan) inherit a large fortune and the family´s life change drastic.
We follow them through love problems, drinking, people who are false and a lot more.
The actors are doing very well, especially Kate Nelligan as Anne and Cameron Daddo as Norman Balfour, the older of the two brothers.
This is one of my favorite series!
