Known as Saul the Butcher, the stoning of Stephen was said to have shattered Saul's faith in the Temple and its denial of Christ as the Messiah. His conversion to Christianity and baptism as Paul changed the history of the world.
E. N. G. was a great Canadian evening soap opera chronicling the lives of the staff at the fictional Channel 10 News room in Toronto. Though it had the usual blend of drama/sex/and a ton of characters (some would come and go with no further notice as to what happened to them) it also added in current political and news worthy events, creating a social commentary, thus elevating this series from the hum-drum world of 'who's sleeping with who' to a much more informative and interesting piece. Very entertaining and very well acted (note that most of the main actors on the show appeared in horror films during the slasher hey-dey-and some would go on to even become famous in the American market-a little Victor Garber anyone?). All and all another show that shows that Canada has more to it than hockey, snow and beer (but not much more;)
