During the scene of the finals of Video Armageddon, the last game used for the final, "Super Mario Bros. 3" was actually meant to be revealed in the film before the NES game was released. People were treated to see this paticular NES game for the first time when the film was first released into theaters.

The version of _Double Dragon (1987) (VG)_ that Jimmy is playing at the bus station is not in fact the arcade version of the game, but rather the Nintendo Entertainment System version of Double Dragon. The PlayChoice 10 is the machine Jimmy is playing and can be seen in the first shot of the boys entering the bus top.

Many NES games appear in the arcade scenes. Contrary to popular belief, this IS possible. In the late eighties/early nineties, Nintendo had an arcade cabinet called Play Choice Ten. These machines would let the gamer pick between a number of NES games and alternate freely between them for as long as a gamer wished - until time ran out, at which time the gamer would have to insert another quarter.

The truck that Spanky Frank McRae borrows from "Old Pete" is the same truck driven by Lincoln Hawk Sylvester Stallone for most of the movie Over the Top. You can even see "Hawk Hauling" on the door as Spanky climbs of the cab during the rescue of Jimmy from Runaway recovery expert Putnam.
