Sex & Nudity

  • The prisoners, men, women, and children are stripped nude during the arrival at the concentration camp. The only nudity seen is a brief glimpse of female breasts, some male buttocks, and a brief shot of a nude woman running with her pubic hair visible.
  • Men are topless while boxing several times throughout.
  • An unmarried young man and woman kiss in a dark movie theater.
  • A young man surprises a woman from behind, and then they kiss.
  • A cross dressing man dances for a crowd of soldiers. He takes off some articles of clothing and kisses one of the soldiers. Eventually removing his bra and wig.

  • It is mentioned that a man's family was shot and killed.
  • Concentration camp prisoners are often pushed, hit, and treated roughly.
  • A prisoner fights with a guard, and knocks him out with a punch.
  • After a woman is caught stealing bread, she is whipped several times. While the strikes are not shown, her face is visible and her cries are heard.
  • Shown from a distance, about ten men are marched out and then shot and killed quickly with a machine gun.
  • Many boxing matches throughout, including hard punches and knockouts.

  • A man has wounds on his face and lays on the ground as another man asks him questions. He is then dragged away, hitting his head on stairs. He groans in pain as he is left in the ground.

  • The violent treatment of the Jews throughout is disturbing and can be difficult to watch.

  • A man desperately searches for a woman, running up to women and looking in their faces. When he finds the woman he's looking for the embrace and kiss briefly.

  • Several male prisoners are killed offscreen, including being shot and hanged. Some of their faces are shown, as well as the reaction of other prisoners who can hear their screams. Minor gore.
