HAS SOME MERITS BUT THEY ARE FEW,
15 September 1999 | by (CARDIFF,WALES) – See all my reviews

A previous comment made about this film says it all really, it is not without some merit as it is fairly fast paced and is well-lit throughout. The best feature about it as stated previously is the presence of Richard Norton in the starring role.He is a confident and relaxed player and certainly one of the best and most charismatic performers in the martial arts genre.Whether as villain or hero as he is here,Australian Norton can always be relied upon to turn in a good performance and his skill with weapons is marvellous to behold. In this respect,"SWORD OF BUSHIDO" is not his best but it is not his worst either.Worth a look, just don't add it to your "must see" list.
