The story of this social satire and soap parody follows two rich white upper class families living in Beverly Hills, California. Recently widowed Claire is a once popular sitcom star, who dreams of a Hollywood comeback. She and her daughter Zandra are not very close, even though they live in the same house, so she turns to her best friend Lisbeth for comfort. Lisbeth is a socialite with her own set of problems. Her alcoholic husband Howard left her for another woman. Her son Willie is terminally ill and hopelessly in love with Zandra, who doesn't even notice him. Juan says he wants to "make the crossover" like Rubén Blades. This is a reference to Blades's movie, Crossover Dreams (1985), in which a smalltime Latin musician makes the crossover into major fame (and back again). See more »
It's all about Arnetia Walker in this movie. She plays the black wife of the white character in the movie that's a failed playwriter. She simply Oozes sexuality, and you'll see what I mean especially if your in to Black Women. I remember seeing this movie when I was at least under 18 and whew!! was she hot. I don't even remember what the movie was about (now I do) but I do remember all the sex scenes with her. She has the best sex scene in this movie (doggie style) that is simply Unforgettable and Definitely worth seeing.
