Around 58:44 you hear Jeff Healey singing "Let it roll, baby roll..." however he is not singing into the mic at all. Instead his head is swinging back and forth as if he's playing a guitar solo.

When Ketchum and the three men walk to the Double Deuce to start the fight with Dalton, the tallest one in the back is a different person after they walk inside to confront the bouncers.

When Dalton (Patrick Swayze) calls Wade (Sam Elliott) from the laundromat, he says in his conversation, "Ah, you know, new town, same story." But right after the bar fight scene where Dalton and Wade had just finished fighting Wesley's (Ben Gazzara's) men, Wade mistakenly reverses it and says to Dalton, "Same town, new story, huh, pal?"

Dalton is fighting one of Wesley's goons in the old man's house. The bad guy has a large knife, but D soon relieves him of it. A couple of seconds later, it is back in the goon's hand, and Dalton uses the same move to take it from him again.

After Dalton has put the tires into the car the boot lid wouldn't obviously get closed as there are to many tires in it. So the next camera perspective shows only Dalton closing the lid and doesn't shows the tires anymore.

Early in the movie, Dalton's Mercedes is shown with flush headlights and cleaning wipers. When he's working out in the barn, it's shown as an older US model with recessed sealed-beam headlights and no wipers.

Factual errors

At the time the movie was made, Missouri used two different license plates, maroon for cars, black for trucks. Emmet's truck - and possibly others - has maroon car plates.

The Ford station wagons crushed in the car dealership scene are purported to be new cars in the movie...but in fact when the film was made they were all about 4 or 5 years old at least, possibly as old as 1979 models.

Near the beginning of the film when Dalton gets into his Mercedes 560, there is a close up of the gear selector going into 3rd (top) gear just before he wheel spins out of the parking garage. Not even a high powered model such as this would wheel spin from a standstill in top gear.

At the end when Dalton jumps in the pond, there is no scar of any kind on Dalton's left shoulder. In fact, there is no evidence to suggest that was shot by Brad Wesley at all.

When the Businessmen are all shooting Brad Wesley in his house, Kelly Lynch is standing next to Emmett, and reacts as the a shot is fired. She then reacts again in a similar fashion, although no further shots have been fired at that stage. She was anticipating the shot that followed few seconds later.
