QUARANTINE clearly uses as its jumping off point the early 90s news reports that told of policemen wearing rubber gloves when breaking up gay rights demonstrations - presumably over fears of H.I.V. The movie QUARANTINE follows this idea to the next logical step - quarantine camps.

It's a spooky thought. The movie is about the triumph of the human spirit - that even under these horrifying conditions humanity will win out. Therem are many rough edges to the film - but it's so fresh, non corporate.
