Yashoda has been widowed for years, but has brought up her two children with lot of love, care, and honesty. She is disappointed when her son, Shankar, who is arrested for breaking the law, and subsequently jailed, and she decides she will have nothing to do with him. She runs her life and is not dependent on anyone. When Shankar comes out of jail, he tries to make amends, but Yashoda outrightly refuses to have anything to do with a criminal. Written by

A few months after the film was released , producer F.C.Mehra had a celebration party. At the party, Shakti Kapoor got drunk. He started to berate F.C.Mehra for not signing him for Shikari. On the way back to the hotel a drunk Shakti got a ride with Shammi Kapoor.. In the car Shakti continued his drunk tirade. He started to belittle Shammi Kapoor by saying he was poorer than Shakti. Shammi pulled over the car and started beating the daylights out of Shakti. It was only until Shammi' s wife pleaded with Shammi to stop that the beating ended. See more
