Kiki says that a painter is going to use her for one of her new paintings and Jiji says "Naked?"

You see Kiki's underwear a few times for intervals of a second or two.

Kiki gets attacked by a flock a crows. (Referencing "The Birds (1963)").

There is a scene when a young woman is attacked by many crows. Scene is fairly mild, but may scare young viewers.

The climax is a dirigible being blown upward by strong winds and yanking a young boy into the air on a rope. As he struggles to hold on, the airship careens through the city until it crashes into a tower while the other end falls on top of nearby buildings with the boy barely holding on.

Meanwhile, Kiki runs frantically through the city to the emergency until she makes a desperate attempt to reignite her flying power with a pushbroom. When Kiki succeeds, she can barely control it as she continually falls and recovers while struggling with steering as she attempts to reach the boy. There is a climatic moment when the boy loses his grip and falls, leading to a tense silent few seconds of crowd reaction as Kiki successfully dives down and grabs him for a controlled descent.
