Peter Weller is in Star Trek 2

5 December 2011 12:31 PM, PST | Corona's Coming Attractions | See recent Corona's Coming Attractions news »

The man behend the metal mask in 1987's RoboCop has landed an important role in the next Star Trek movie. Of course the actor I'm talking about is Peter Weller, the thin, almost gaunt star of the first two RoboCop films, Leviathan and the greatest sci-fi movie of the 1980s that you've never seen, Buckaroo Banzai. Yes, Peter Weller is in Star Trek...again.

What do I mean by "again"? Well, if you didn't know that Weller made a previous canon appearance in a Star Trek TV series you could be excused. Weller was asked by his buddy Manny Coto, who was showrunning the fourth and final season of Star Trek: Enterprise, to play a villain in the third and second-to-last episodes of Enterprise's final season. Weller played a businessman named Paxton who led a group of humans that wanted aliens off the Earth, and for humans to stop »

'Robocop' star Peter Weller joins the 'Star Trek' sequel cast

5 December 2011 9:10 AM, PST | Hitfix | See recent Hitfix news »

I always loved the way an actor could show up in more than one role in the "Star Trek" universe, and it looks like Peter Weller is going to pull the same trick now as he steps up to play a major role in the new "Star Trek" sequel. He previously showed up in a two-episode guest role for "Star Trek: Enterprise," which of course is just part of his science-fiction resume.  He is most famous for being the original (and in my world, only) Robocop, but he's also appeared on shows like "Odyssey 5" and in films like "Leviathan" or »

Michael Berryman is the latest name to join the crew down in merry old Salem as Virgil Magnus, 50% of a well-known witch hunting duo called The Brothers.

Mr. Berryman has been shocking audiences for over 35 years in films like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, The Hills Have Eyes, Deadly Blessing, Weird Science and of course The Devil's Rejects where he didn't fuck any chickens or so he says.
