A true glimpse into the eyes of Christmas
25 March 2002 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

It Nearly Wasn't Christmas really thrills the heart of the child inside. It's not fake or phony like people here have claimed. It's an enjoyable tearjerker at times that pulls at the soul. It may seem corny to some people but if you like a hearty Christmas drama, it's not a bad choice. Alot of my friends and some family members liked it. It wasn't that bad to me, either. It should be given more of a chance. For God's sake, Charles Durning is a great Santa and the characters are really comical sometimes. 7 out of 10.
