Alternate Versions

In the Latin American Spanish version, the butler in the castle says "...and if you are a Scottish lord, then I am Popeye the Sailor (1933)."
In the initial Theatrical Release of "The Last Crusade", Walter Donovan points to a Chest of Gold Items and says to the Sultan of Hatay "... donated by the finest Jewish families in Germany." In all subsequent releases of the film the word "Jewish" has been edited out of the dialogue.
The slipcover art on the back of the NTSC laserdisc shows a tarantula crawling up Harrison Ford's torso. This scene is not available in any of the US releases.
In the German dubbed version the line "This is how we say 'good-bye' in Germany, Mr. Jones!" was changed to "...how we say 'good-bye' at the SS!"
