Although the final music credit is listed as "Hail to the Matadors" by Richard Kaufman, what the Cal State University Northridge Matador Band plays onscreeen is actually titled "CSUN Fight Song" which is based on the original 1967 school song for the former San Fernando Valley State College. The up-tempo arrangement for marching band was done by CSUN alum, Steve Tyler. See more
