Interesting shocker ripoff with a great cast
7 February 2011 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

The Horror Show, aka House 3, is a slasher film that deals with rubber reality. The film is VERY reminiscent of Wes Cravens Shocker. Its nice to see Lance Henrisken play the good guy for once and Brion James (tango & cash/blade runner) is great at playing the villain, Meat Clever Max. There's some cool effects and gags but it kinda drags on towards the end. This is a rare movie to find on DVD region 1....so watch it now while its on instant watch and on demand. If you like b-movies then give this flick a chance. It's somewhat forgettable but does have some decent moments. The cast is pretty awesome is you're into cult b-movies. Don't know why they marketed as house 3 though.
