Boom mic visible

As Phil picks up Beeswax the cat and moves through the kitchen, you can briefly see a hand-held boom-mic being quickly lowered to Phil's left as he goes past the oven. The mic is in the slot between the oven and the adjoining cabinet.

Continuity

When Phil and Sam are in the restaurant at the beginning, and the camera is on Phil, a couple stroll by outside the window. The man has a boombox on his shoulder. The shot cuts to Sam and then cuts right back to Phil, and that same couple is strolling by the window in the same spot.

When Phil and Sam are talking at the table at the first of the show, from one angle the orange juice is sloshing around. In the other shot it's still.

When the lieutenant came to visit Phil at his home, when he's at the front door it is pitch black outside, but as they move to the den downstairs, you can clearly see it's still daylight.

**SPOILERS**

Blackwood and Nina have sex in a house that was destroyed by an explosion earlier in the film. This mistake was so notable it was mentioned in Leonard Maltin's review of the film:

"For a full appreciation of just how much contempt "Her Alibi" has for the audience, reflect for a moment on the movie's last scene, in which Blackwood and Nina are back in the snug Connecticut farmhouse for a big love scene and a fade out. The people who made this movie apparently actually forgot that they blew the house up a half-hour earlier."

Revealing mistakes

When Sam is on the phone with Phil, an editor pops his head in to see if Sam has Phil working. Sam says, "As we speak, Hank." The editor's name was supposed to be Ian. The actor's real name was Hank.
