In just a few days, Flashback Weekend Horror Convention will be celebrating Halloween in August with their Michael Myers-related revelry (and more), and we now have a look at the final schedule for this weekend’s convention, which runs at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare from Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th.
Flashback Weekend has been a longstanding tradition for me, as both a fan and as one of the co-hosts, and this year looks to be yet another incredible time for horror lovers, featuring tons of great panels, movie screenings, events, and legendary composer Alan Howarth will even be performing a special concert for attendees on Friday night.

This August, horror fans in the Midwest should get ready to trick or treat a little early this year as the 2015 Flashback Weekend Horror Convention is gearing up to celebrate all things Michael Myers with three days of Halloween-related events and guests as part of this year’s line-up. Flashback will also be honoring Stuart Gordon’s Re-Animator for its 30th anniversary, will play host to several notable cast members from American Horror Story: Freak Show and much more.
Running Friday, August 7th through Sunday, August 9th at the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel (5440 N. River Road, Rosemont, Il 60018), Flashback Weekend is celebrating its 13th year with an all-out Halloween extravaganza, paying tribute to the original and many of the sequels from the iconic franchise. Patrick Rea, of Nailbiter fame, has completed a horror short, titled "Howl of a Good Time." The film will debut at HorrorHound Cincinnati on March 21st. The film notably stars Tamara Glynn (Halloween 5) and Leslie Easterbrook. And recently, a trailer was released for the film. That clip can be found below. As well, "Howl of a Good Time" has been nominated for "Best Short Film." Winners of the Best Short category will be announced, shortly.
