Trivia:

Was originally going to feature a fish-rat hybrid named Deautalios, another of Dr. Shiragami's creations. Deautalios was to battle Godzilla and lose, after which Godzilla devoured the creature's flesh. Later on, Deautalios was written out and replaced with the rose form of Biollante.

Goofs:

Miscellaneous: After Shiragami is briefly interviewed by the media Biollante is shown for a brief second appearing regular, but in the very next shot with Biollante it's fully blossomed.

Quotes:

Certainly better than "Godzilla 1985".

This is probably my favorite of the new films so far. It was dark and creepy, not campy at all. The score, while not as good as the one used in the early films, is very fitting. The acting was good, and the plot was well done. As if that wasn't enough, it's about 30 times better than the American release of "Godzilla 1985".
