Jackie, an actress/model stumbles upon the murder of a government official and can identify one of the killers. Fabricating a stalker, she gets police protection in the form of Denise Danielovitch, a female cop who never gets to work on the big cases. But thanks to what Jackie saw and an unpublished manuscript Danielovitch is about to solve one of the biggest mysteries of the 20th Century. In the meantime, the two opposites bond and discover talents they never knew they had. Written by
After spoiled brat bimbo actress/model Jackie arrives at the apartment of a man she was dating, she finds dead bodies and ends up being protected by tough, tomboyish cop Denise. Denise cannot believe anyone could be so naive and demanding. But she isn't taken seriously by her fellow police officers, so she has to take this assignment. In the process of trying to solve the murders--which are somehow connected to a tell-all book Jackie's latest boyfriend was writing--Jackie and Denise learn to understand each other and each even develops qualities the other has.
I really like Jackie and Denise together. Sure, the movie was fluff, but it was the kind of fluff I like and very funny for a murder mystery.
