Storyline

A GI in Vietnam saves his buddy's life, but in the process is shot in the head. The injury results in brain damage to the point where he basically has a child's brain in a (very large) man's body. When they get out of the army the two open up a bar together, but some local gangsters make things tough for them after they refuse to take part in brutal "cage" matches where fighters battle to the point of serious injury and/or death. Surprisingly good...........
9 September 2003 | by (LA, USA) – See all my reviews

I catched this movie on cable a few years ago and upon viewing that there were so few reviews on imdb, I figured I might offer my 2 cents or whatever, afterall, I am an action-film buff.

Despite pre-judgements and immediate write-offs by most "shallow" people, Cage actually manages to bring a captivating presence to your screen. Lou Ferrigno & Reb Brown got the right characters here to make a winning combination, while the remaining crew work out well, from Michael Dante to James Shigeta......after you see the film, you'll understand, do remember though that this is a late 80's early 90's piece....dont unfairly criticize.

To sum it up, Cage may not be beautifully filmed nor have the best action scenes, but it doesnt have to as it proves to be entertaining enough to be worthwhile for fans of the kind.
