A remake of the popular and long-running late 60s-70's police drama of the same name. Officers Doyle and Grant patrolled the streets of Los Angeles in squad car Adam-12, trying to keep the city safe for everyone. The show mainly focused on the partners' dealings with both serious crimes and more unusual humorous situations, as well as looking at their home and personal lives. Written by

The new ADAM 12 series was relegated mostly to late night weekend fare which was too good for it. Not like the older series which had a style unto itself,(and rating longevity) this series had no style at all. Not worth watching an entire episode the series was sustandard slop. Avoid this show. A syndication nightmare. The series was nothing like the predecessor, nothing. The stories were cheap and exploitationist and unbelievable. Had the production crew put more work into this or the studio it could ahve possibly done better yet it was doomed from the get go without the particiapation of KENT MCCORD and MARTIN MILLNER.
