This is a fun film, I laughed more than a few times. Maggie Cheung plays a furrier who gets involved with Jacky Cheung, who is a movie producer. It turns out their respective moms (Teng Pi-yun and Lydia Shum) were rivals for Jacky's dad who chose Lydia over Teng. Now, Maggie and Jacky, unknown to them that their mothers intensely dislike each other and would never approve of their relationship, try to not make the fact known once they realize. The film is a series of gags, mistaken identities and the like, but I found it entertaining. Maggie looks amazing, and she and Jacky make a very appealing couple. Lydia and Teng are fun as the moms, with Bill Tung as Jacky's dad and former love interest of Teng in the middle. Nothing profound, it was just fun to watch. That is a ringing endorsement for any film.
