The new rom-com of the month, The Other Zoey follows the titular young college student (Josephine Langford), who is trying to build an app to match people based on compatibility, not love. After a chance encounter and accident with one of her school's soccer players, Zach (Drew Starkey), she has to pretend to be his girlfriend while trying to impress his cousin Miles (Archie Renaux), the guy she's actually interested in. Of course, pretending to be his girlfriend doesn't go according to plan, resulting in her catching feelings for Zach and forcing her to reconsider her views on love while trying to navigate the other relationships in her life.

Film fans talk about the 1990s as another Golden Age of cinema. Not only is there the jam-packed year of 1999, which gave us classics such as The Matrix, Toy Story 2, and The Talented Mr. Ripley, but the 90s also saw the rise of new auteurs, including Quentin Tarantino, Paul Thomas Anderson, David Fincher, and Guillermo del Toro. Hollywood turned its attention to indie and foreign films, enriching a moviegoing experience that still featured fan-favorite blockbusters.
But to really see how good the 90s were, we can’t just look at the hits. Rather, the flops tell us the true tale of the decade’s quality – the movies that audiences skipped at the time but have proven their worth in the years that followed. Here are the best flops of the 1990s; films that couldn’t find a wide enough audience upon release, but still deserve attention today.

With a professional career that is somehow nearing 40 years, Heather Graham has taken time to reflect on some of the most famous roles throughout her run in Hollywood, from crushes on one of the Coreys to her first nude scene to shoving her tongue in Mike Myers’ mouth.

Premiering on October 25, 1997, Under Wraps was the inaugural Disney Channel Original Movie. The cornerstone of the network’s programming proved to be as close to appointment viewing as it got for ‘90s kids, along with the likes of ABC’s Tgif and Nickelodeon’s Snick. Moreover, Under Wraps served as a gateway to horror for many millennials. Before the age of streaming, catching a mummy movie on the same channel where you watched Disney cartoons and Boy Meets World reruns could have been your first exposure to the macabre.
Disney attempted to recapture the magic with last year’s Under Wraps remake. The original movie was successful — and continues to hold up 25 years later — for several reasons; relatable kid leads, a great Halloween atmosphere, and a sense of humor chief among them. Director/co-writer Alex Zamm and co-writer William Robertson (Inspector Gadget 2) smartly maintained those elements for the new iteration.

And Coleman’s wife (played by Piper Laurie) swaps bodies, sort of, with Bobby’s high school crush Lainie (Meredith Salenger). “Plan B” is a girls-behaving-badly all-night-long road-trip comedy that’s The film made me realize that almost every time a movie like this one comes along that has young women at the center of it, it’s been an independent film. In the randy teens + binge party = escalating trainwreck genre of high delinquent comedy, that’s a crucial distinction, because it means that the films bypass a certain mainstream blandification. “Plan B” will be released May 28 on Hulu, and it’s clear that the relevant executive note-givers did not see fit to demand that the movie lose certain jokes outrageous enough to hit viewers like a comic shock wave.

In November 1984, Billy Ocean’s “Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)” dethroned Stevie Wonder’s “I Just Called to Say I Love You” to take the Number One spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was a brash fusion of soul, reggae, R&b, and pop unlike anything that had been heard before on Top 40 radio, and the singer followed it up with equally eclectic hits like “Loverboy,” “Suddenly,” and “When the Going Gets Tough, the Tough Get Going.”

Welcome to Part 2 of TV Fanatic's exclusive feature interview with former child actor Scott Schwartz regarding first-hand knowledge of Corey Feldman's "friendship" with Corey Haim, the alleged "Hollywood industry pedophilia ring," Charlie Sheen, and much more.
If you haven't read Part 1 yet, catch up here.
Just to note, we have received a response from Corey Feldman and have an exclusive quote to present, which will come at the end of this series of interviews.
We also have inquired with Mr. Feldman about possibly granting a follow-up interview. More information on that, as it comes.
Regarding Scott Schwartz and Feldman's allegations against Charlie Sheen that we explored in Part 1: Scott has been close with Corey Haim's mother, Judy, for several decades -- ever since he and Haim met on set and became good friends.
Schwartz is sure "if something would have happened between Haim and Sheen, [Corey Haim] would have told his mother.

Corey Feldman and Corey Haim remain linked over a decade after Haim’s death in 2010.
In Feldman’s new documentary (My) Truth: The Rape of Two Coreys, which premiered in Los Angeles on Monday, the actor, 48, alleges that his friend told him that Charlie Sheen raped Haim on set of the 1986 film Lucas. At the time Sheen was 19 and Haim was 13.
According to Entertainment Weekly, several others featured in the documentary claimed that Haim had also told them of the alleged sexual abuse, including Feldman’s ex-wife Susannah Sprague, with whom he shares son Zen, 15.
“These sick, twisted and outlandish allegations never occurred.

Corey Feldman has named Charlie Sheen as Corey Haim's abuser in his new child abuse documentary. Corey Feldman promised to name at least one big Hollywood elite in his revealing and provocative new documentary (My) Truth: The Rape of 2 Coreys. And he held true to his promise, though his biggest revelation has been alleged before. Though marred by technical difficulties during the first live stream of the movie, Feldman played the entire documentary for friends and guests at a special screening at the DGA in Hollywood.

Though he had to stop the movie just 15 minutes into the presentation, claiming that the live stream was under attack, he did let the rest of the movie play out for those in attendance, and at the midway point in the movie, Corey Feldman alleges that Charlie Sheen...

The 80s teen star is known for odd, even sleazy behaviour. Is that why his claims about the film industry are not taken seriously?
At first glance, Corey Feldman’s house looks ridiculous. A crooked Christmas wreath hangs on the front door, even though it is late January. Feldman’s assistant lets me into the two-storey home in the hills of Los Angeles, and when I walk into the living room I have to bite the insides of my cheeks to stop myself from gasping: hanging above the fireplace is a drawing of Feldman from his 80s teen glory years. The bookcases are packed with vintage toys, most still in their boxes, most from Feldman’s own movies: there’s Goonies merch, Gremlins memorabilia, The Lost Boys souvenirs. And, of course, there are the inevitable posters of his films, including License to Drive and Stand By Me. It’s like...

Something you should know about me for this month’s installment of Catalog From the Beyond is that as a kid, I was a huge fan of The Two Coreys. I could not get enough from Coreys Feldman or Haim, and of course much of this love springs from The Lost Boys, a pivotal movie in many of our collective horror educations. But I loved anything the Coreys put out, either together or on their own. And while everyone knows about Feldman’s hot streak of ’80s staples, I don’t think Haim gets nearly enough credit for his own contributions. He brought an earnest charm in early work like Silver Bullet and Lucas that later gave way to a mischievous streak in movies such as License to Drive and Dream a Little Dream. We get a dash of both personas in this month’s featured flick, the 1988 monster movie Watchers.

Girl Talk is a weekly look at women in film — past, present, and future.
Three decades into her Hollywood career, Heather Graham is making some changes. The long-time actress has always mixed things up in her work. Even as a teenager, she always seemed interested in working with a wide array of directors on some very different projects, playing the object of Corey Haim’s affection in the teen comedy “License to Drive” and turning in an Indie Spirit-nominated supporting turn in Gus Van Sant’s “Drugstore Cowboy” in the space of a year. Her best-known roles also reflect that same spirit, and Graham is just as recognizable for her work in the first “Austin Powers” film as she is for her heartbreaking spin in Paul Thomas Anderson’s “Boogie Nights.”

How did it take so long to get a Lifetime movie about the Coreys? A Tale of Two Coreys is a tragic Hollywood rise-and-fall saga: two teen actors who make it big in the Eighties, complete with fire-hazard hair, drugs, groupies and pastel blazers. Corey Haim and Corey Feldman first paired up in the 1986 vampire classic The Lost Boys, and became inseparable BFFs, only to crash hard. In other words, it's a story made to order for a lurid low-budget Lifetime biopic, with a cast full of unknowns. But unlike...

Corey Feldman and Corey Haim’s rise to stardom in the late 1980s is intimately chronicled in the new Lifetime movie, A Tale of Two Coreys, set to premiere on Jan, 6.
Feldman (played by Elijah Marcano and Scott Bosely) first met Haim (played by Justin Ellings and Casey Leach) on the set of 1987’s The Lost Boys, and went on to collaborate on a total of seven movies together, including License to Drive and Dream a Little Dream. The two quickly became teen heartthrobs, but with their on-screen success came a wealth of secrets and trauma kept behind closed doors.

Corey Feldman's list of supporters continues to grow as he vows to uncover a Hollywood pedophile ring. The Goonies co-star Sean Astin took to Twitter earlier this week to share his support for Feldman's cause. Actresses Asia Argento and Selma Blair have also come out to support Corey Feldman on social media, using the hashtag: #Istandwithcorey, which has started to spread like wildfire after Corey Feldman's appearances on television over the past week. The news comes after Feldman appeared on the Doctor Oz show to promote his Truth Campaign.

As previously reported, Corey Feldman was on the Doctor Oz show where he revealed that one of the men who sexually assaulted him as a child still trolls him on social media. Later in the same show, Feldman revealed the man's name and as it turns out, Feldman's detective fan, Jaime Dlux, was right on the money when his investigations led him to actor John Grissom. Feldman, who claims he was sexually assaulted when he was a teenager, named Grissom, an actor who appeared alongside Feldman and Corey Haim in 1988's License to Drive and 1989's Dream a Little Dream and accused the older actor of sexually molesting him.
Jaime Dlux went on his own investigation, compiling information that Corey Feldman had released over the years and found John Grissom on his own and released his evidence on YouTube videos that Feldman endorsed. Jaime Dlux also outed a second abuser...

Corey Feldman has publicly accused actor Jon Grissom of sexually molesting him in the late 1980s. Feldman said the name of his alleged abuser for the first time during an interview on “The Dr. Oz Show,” where he also called Santa Barbara law enforcement officials to report the allegations. Grissom appeared opposite Feldman and fellow child actor Corey Haim in two movies: 1988’s “License to Drive” and 1989’s “Dream a Little Dream.”
During the taped interview on “The Dr. Oz Show,” it was revealed that Grissom has a previous arrest record, including a 2001 arrest for child molestation charges. He was found guilty of the crime in 2003 and is also in violation of “Megan’s Law,” which requires sex offenders to register by law.

Former child actor Corey Feldman identified actor Jon Grissom as one of his abusers during an appearance on “The Dr. Oz Show” on Thursday. Grissom’s IMDb page only lists two credits, bit roles in the ’80s movies “License to Drive” and “Dream a Little Dream,” both of which starred Feldman. During the interview, the host convinced Feldman to report the abuse to the Los Angeles Police Department on camera. While on hold with the police, Oz showed Feldman Grissom’s Facebook page, singling him out as “the man my team and I identified as his potential molester.” “That’s him.

Update: Corey Feldman named Eighties actor John Grissom as one of the men who allegedly sexually molested him as a teenager during a sit-down chat with Dr. Oz Thursday. The former child star called the Lapd to file a report against Grissom during the show, noting that the actor still had photos of himself with Feldman and his late friend Corey Haim on his social media pages.

In 1989, Corey Feldman and Corey Haim were barely 18 and on top of the world. Child actors made good, they had starred in quick succession in three teen classics—the box office hit The Lost Boys, License to Drive and Dream a Little Dream—that meant everything if you were anywhere near high school age at the time. And they had each other, the two Coreys by each other's side as they navigated the wild world of Hollywood. A world that's never wilder than when you're a young heartthrob, awash in fame, attention, money and seemingly endless possibilities. Feldman was a Los Angeles native who got his first acting credit at 8 as "Boy at Museum" in the...

And so it begins. Corey Feldman is already being discredited in the press for his recent announcement that he plans to expose a huge pedophile ring in Hollywood. The actor himself said this would happen. Though, it's unlikely that he expected the first source of outcry. It is Corey Haim's mother who has denounced Feldman's claims in a scathing new interview. She calls the former 80s teen idol and current touring musician a scam artist. And she claims that his knowledge of a Hollywood pedophile ring are bogus.
Corey Haim's mother Judy, and Corey Feldman, have been feuding for a long time. Judy was displeased with Feldman's 2013 biography Coreyography, claiming that he discredits Corey Haim's legacy, and has brought shame to the Haim family. Feldman long ago agreed to never discuss Corey Haim or their shared sexual abuse stories to the press in recent years and he's...

Growing up, Heather Graham was sure she wanted to be the next Meryl Streep.

Cast your mind back to the summer of 1988, when a teen comedy titled License to Drive opened quietly in movie theaters across the nation. It was no great shakes at the box office during its first week, finishing far behind Coming to America and Who Framed Roger Rabbit. But in a sequel-happy season -- it opened against three other sequels that week -- the funny and beguiling original struck familiar chords for younger moviegoers, eventually earning more than $22 million during its theatrical release. The film gained a new life after it arrived on videocassette later that year. What accounts for its appeal? At its heart, the teenage hero Les (Corey Haim) wants nothing more than to take Mercedes (Heather Graham) out on a date; in motor-driven Los Angeles in the 1980s, it would...

We’ve been strangely bereft of movie remake stories for a little while, but rest assured there are plenty still chugging their way through the Hollywood system. Another one is coming too, with the news that 1988 comedy License To Drive is next for a do-over.
The original film starred Corey Haim, Corey Feldman and Heather Graham, and followed a teen who failed his driving test. He celebrates in the time honoured fashion by, er, taking his grandfather’s prized car for a night on the town.
This time around, the two leads in the movie will be female, and the new script is being written by Alisha Brophy and Scott Miles. John Davis is producing the film, and no director has thus far been appointed.

The classic 1988 film License to Drive with Corey Haim and Cory Feldman is the latest film from the 80s that will be going through the remake machine. I loved that movie when I was a kid! I was majorly crushing on Heather Graham in the movie.
According to Deadline, the new film will have female leads and they described as being a female version of Superbad. If you've never seen the original movie before, the story follows a teen boy, who decides to sneak out one night with his grandfather’s prized 1972 Cadillac Sedan de Ville for a night out on the town with his friends... despite flunking his driver's test. They end up embarking on one crazy adventure that ends in the destruction of the car.

According to Deadline, screenwriters Alisha Brophy and Scott Miles have been hired by 20th Century Fox to develop a female-led remake of the 1988 Corey Haim/Feldman comedy License To Drive. The original movie is about a teenager who fails his driving test, but he takes his dad’s prized Cadillac for a joyride anyway in an attempt to impress his girlfriend (played by Heather Graham). Being an ‘80s comedy about teens, things go pretty poorly from there, and everybody has wild adventures where they learn about life and love. Weirdly, the Deadline story says that this remake is “being described as the female version of Superbad,” even though it’s already literally the female version of License To Drive.
Brophy and Miles have previously been attached to write the adaptation of White Girl Problems, so they’re clearly a go-to team these days for comedies like this.

Heh, the 80s were a strange time, were they not? One might say that the two Corey's (Haim and Feldman) really helped tie that particular era of madcap teen movie making together. It was inevitable. License to Drive is getting a remake. Only this time out, with an all-female cast. The Corey Haim and Corey Feldman classic first hit theaters in 1988, and wasn't a big hit. Critics hated it. But it has since become a cult favorite, and fans of the two Coreys usually sight it as one of their best team-ups before Haim's untimely death in 2010.
Most fans of the Two Coreys probably won't rail against an all-female License to Drive remake too hard. The title doesn't hold the same kind of reverence as Ghostbusters. The new comedy is coming from producer John Davis and 20th Century Fox, home to the original. Alish Brophy and Scott Miles, best known for their work on Girl Problems, are currently in the development stage. Instead of describing the movie as 'License to Drive with girls', which makes perfect sense, the filmmaking team is...

Nobody may believe this, but Every film could be remade. There are many reasons for this. Sometimes it is done to improve on the previous film. Other times it is done to update a film from years past. There have no doubt been times that something was remade simply because that was a way to squeeze more money out of the property. And if Hollywood continues to employ this trend, sooner or later, every movie, no matter how classic, will probably get resurrected in some way shape or form. No matter how much fans don't want it to happen.
It appears that some films have gotten remade simply because there wasn't a good case against remaking it. If you're a studio head then the numbers make a lot of sense. People know the property, the characters, the story, etc. Nobody is going to be 'literally' hurt by remaking said film,...
