Sex & Nudity

A few intimate scenes, no sex, but Sigourney Weaver and her lover are seen in a bathtub together, while her breasts are covered with bubbles it is obvious they are naked. A few kisses nothing really passionate. Sex is rarely talked about, overall the sexual content in this movie is mild.

Violence & Gore

Dian Fossey (Sigourney Weaver) is studying why the gorillas are dissapearing. She finds out they have been hunted by pochers and skinned for their fur. She visits a place where this was being done and there are many gorillas skinned completely hanging upside down.

They're a few protests stage by enviromentalists police have to use their little clubs to control the crowd. No blood is seen just a few hits.

Profanity

Damn and Shit are said mainly the F-word is not used, but Asshole and Bitch are.

Small amounts of alcohol are drunken on occasion. A few characters smoke but nothing extreme.

Drugs are not even mentioned

The fact of the gorillas being killed could upset children.
