Emma Queen of the South Seas
4 April 2009 | by (United States) – See all my reviews

I have The TV movie of Emma etc and I just love it. Barbara Carrera as Emma was beautiful in the role and her acting was excellent. As was Hal Holbrook as her father Jonas Coe. The scenes of Samoa were beautifully photographed. The clothes seemed to be in keeping with that particular era.I am not a movie critic but I have enjoyed watching this movie at least once a year since 1988 when it was televised on the Lifetime channel. I could never understand why this film was never at the movie theaters. My copy of this movie is beginning to deteriorate and I have been longing to get it on a DVD for a long time but can never find one.If anyone knows where I can get it on VHS or DVD I wish they would post it here.I am a big Carrera fan and would love to have a better copy of this magnificently portrayed and photographed movie.
