Maud Sage has a secret wish when she returns to the place of her childhood. Her dream is to breed thoroughbreds of world class but it does not go so easily fulfilled. The snobbish society of bluegrass and her unscrupulous neighbor Lowell Shipleigh spares no meanness in order to destroy her. Against the vicious intrigues only the useful farm managers Dancy Cutler stands beside her, whose love she misconceived first. The revenge is bitterly when she falls for the persuasiveness of the equally rich as mysterious Irishman Michael Fitzgerald.

I just want to say that this is one of the most memorable made for TV movies i have ever seen. I remember watching it and wish so much that i could find it on DVD or video. my family has a copy of it that they recorded while it was on TV. so the commercials are all there and i would just love to see it fully without fast forwarding. i love Cheryl Ladd and all the other characters in this movie. being the daughter of two thoroughbred trainers this movie hits close to my heart. in the very beginning of this movie there is a scene where they are in the bidding circle. the very dark skinned male sitting with his hand close to his face, he is wearing a horseshoe ring, he is my father :) another reason i live this movie. he had very small parts throughout the movie. that first scene and many scenes where he is actually riding the horses. :) i love this movie and if anyone knows where i can find it please let me know :)
