This movie shows Jennifer Rubin at the beginning of her career, and she is great! Her acting as a daughter repelled by her mother is simply fantastic! The other actors are also good, too, and the storyline (daughter is repelled by her mother because father died while saving the pregnant mother from falling into the river, I think) is original.
