The story involves businessman Tom Snelling (Dino Castagno) who has 72 hours to find an important document in British Columbia to prove he owns a business. His drunk-and-grounded pilot buddy introduces him to Jimmy Johnson (Randy Young), a pilot who will help make the trip but is also smuggling two kilos of cocaine. Bad Trip indeed! The filmmakers appear to be trying to do a Midnight Run (1988) variation of action mixed with comedy, but they forget to offer the latter. Well, they offer it but in a truly bizarre manner. For example, their version of comedy is Tom crashing his plane, waking up not knowing where he is and being saved by a busty lady who calls him Mikey. She wants to have sex with him (he obliges for some reason) until the real Mikey shows up dressed as Rambo and blows up the house. Haha? It has all the luster of an early City Lights/PM Entertainment flick with bloody squibs and static filming. Other than that, not much else is going on here, but you will truly understand the plight of "Mikey" as you too are screwed by strangers.
