Murphy decides not to work for the White House and goes back to her old job at FYI. All is well again until she finds out thanks to the news piece that was assigned to her that she may have breast cancer.
Murphy supports a benefit run for breast cancer research, despite the fact that the run is paid for by a former Wall Street trader who went to jail for insider trading but has supposedly changed his ways since.
Kay encourages staffers to pick their best clips for a "Then and now" special for the network. As a result of remembering times past, Murphy takes Frank and heads out of town to revisit her childhood home in Philadelphia.
Kay dresses up as a man to prove a point. She fools everyone into thinking that she is one, so Murphy uses her to get rid of an IRS tax accountant who keeps hitting on Murphy, only to realize that she needs his insider information.
Murphy interviews God. Meanwhile, the FYI crew assumes that Murphy is leaving the FYI for good, so they plan what to do next with their careers. The show ends with an epilogue that wraps most things up.
