Why We're Obsessed With 'Manhunt: Unabomber'
One of the longest searches in history for someone on the America's Most Wanted list came to a close after 17 years when the FBI captured the man known as the Unabomber, Ted Kaczynski. Rather than tell the story from the point of view of Kaczynski (Paul Bettany), Discovery's Manhunt: Unabomber will focus on FBI agent and criminal profiler James "Fitz" Fitzgerald (Sam Worthington), who pioneers the use of forensic linguistics to identify and ultimately capture the serial bomber. The riveting eight-episode series will touch on aspects of the investigation many have doubtless forgotten or never knew.
