Trivia:
This is the film that ended the partnership between Lucio Fulci and Dardano Sacchetti. Fulci claims he came up with the story, Sacchetti wrote a treatment and they were to make it together, but it continually fell through. Eventually Sacchetti copyrighted the story himself and made the film with Lamberto Bava. Sacchetti claims that the story had been his all along and Fulci was just upset because the project never took off with him as director.See more »

probably Lamberto Bava's best film, 2 March 2001
Author: Ron Altman from www.cultmovies.info

Interesting variation of THE POSTMAN ALWAYS RINGS TWICE about Brandon (AQUARIUS) and Scola, who murdered Scola's husband six years ago and must now contend with her son's nightmares and the arrival of a stranger (Barberini, OPERA) who might know something about the case. Bava expectedly adds horror elements, although this is one of his more subtle works – and one of his best. Slightly overlong, not consistently good, but a must for fans of obscure movies.
