This is no better or worse than the original. It has some clever lines and witticisms from Johnny Yune, and even when we're NOT laughing, the film gets by with it because of its good-naturedness. But, like the original, it wastes too much time on stupid subplots and fight scenes with secondary characters. And near the finale it makes some serious missteps, including a kickboxing match that's supposed to be a spoof the "Rocky" showdowns but just isn't funny at all, and goes on much longer than it should, too.
