A Stranger Waits Is An Excellent Suspense Thriller
A Stranger Waits is an excellent suspense thriller from the 1980s.Suzanne Pleshette shined as the main character of the film.I am a huge Suzanne Pleshette fan.She was so good as Emily in the Bob Newhart show that was a huge sitcom years ago. This is a very different role, from the one she played in the Bob Newhart show. This is a story with twists and turns, and a good surprise at the end.The setting for the movie is gorgeous. It is set on a rocky coastline, and the house in the story is right on the edge of the shoreline. Suzanne Pleshette,Tom Atkins, and Kenneth Welsh did a very good job in their roles.Tom Atkins starred in a lot of John Carpenter movies. He is a very good actor.Kenneth Welsh played Colin Thatcher in Love And Hate with Kate Nelligan.I watched this movie last night, and I enjoyed it as much as when I viewed it for the first time. This has been shown on Encore's mystery channel on cable and satellite. If you get a chance to see this movie, then you should.
