Trivia

Bradley Whitford and Timothy Busfield play prominent roles in the film. Twelve years later both would go on the play prominent roles on The West Wing although in a somewhat different capacity. Whitford's character Josh Lyman is known as an intellectual, being a graduate of Harvard and Yale Law School. Busfield's character of Danny Concannon was a graduate of Notre Dame. The two were "enemies " in the film while in The West Wing they play members of two different staffs. Whitford working for the White House as Deputy Chief of Staff and Busfield as a White House correspondent. While the two staffs aren't necessarily advisaries (like the Tri-Lambs vs Alpha Betas) the two were certainly hostile to each other at times. See more »

This time the nerds led by Robert Carradine and Anthonny Edwards go to Florida where there they meet a new breed of jocks who they face off against and basically destroy in the end, the problem with this entry is that the nerds this time are too cool to really be considered nerds and they even get a girlfriend sympathetic to their cause, this undermines all the humor, not to mention that away from the college dorm setting, there really isn't much the nerds can do that they didn't in the original. As a sequel this is all disappointing stuff, but aside from James Hong who gives an inspired performance as well as maybe a few vaguely amusing moments, Revenge Of The Nerds II is a big disappointment.
