The content of this page was created directly by users and has not been screened or verified by IMDb staff.
Since the beliefs that parents want to instill in their children can vary greatly, we ask that, instead of adding your personal opinions about what is right or wrong in a film, you use this feature to help parents make informed viewing decisions by describing the facts of relevant scenes in the title for each one of the different categories: Sex and Nudity, Violence and Gore, Profanity, Alcohol/Drugs/Smoking, and Frightening/Intense Scenes.

Sex & Nudity

There are a two or three scenes where a pre-pubescent boy is shown naked, with no trousers, both from the front and the back, but without any sexual connotations.

A naked woman is shown washing her dress in a river or pond after sexual intercourse (which is not shown). Blood can be made out on the dress.

A man has his penis 'cut' by a woman to punish him for serial infidelity: the act is not shown, but the man is shown writhing in pain on a bed, with his hands clutching his crotch, around which there is a lot of blood. The act is referred to as her 'cutting' him, and is no more explicit than that.

Violence & Gore

Mild violent scenes nothing graphic

A boy is seen repeatedly whipping another boy with stinging nettles. Other scenes where boys fight with their fists.

Scene where a man has a lot of blood around his crotch where he has been 'cut'.

A stone counterweight hits a man in the back of his head and knocks him out. He is shown bleeding from the nose.

Profanity

'Whoremonger' is used as a term of abuse by bullying children in school.

Some smoking
