At the beginning of the movie, you see Hawkes coming in through the guard station in front of the school. Once past the gate, you can see a long shot down the driveway of the academy. There are palm trees and desert plants along the edges of the drive. These type of plants would not be able to grow at the higher altitudes in Colorado.
When Hawk and his son are walking to the final match, the audio used for his son is from the speech he gave his Father in the scene before. He could be heard saying, "You weren't talking about me, you were talking about you," although the audio is lowered.
When Lincoln Hawk is announced as the last finalist, it shows him sitting in front of the truck with his right elbow wrapped in a towel. The shot cuts away, and when it comes back to Hawk, the towel is in his back pocket and he puts it on again.
Bull Hurley was undefeated when facing Lincoln Hawk in the final match. Since this was a double elimination tournament, Hawk, having come out of the loser's bracket, would have had to beat Hurley twice in order to become the champion.
When Mike recklessly bolts from Lincoln's truck and dashes across the busy highway...putting his life in both extreme and immediate danger...Lincoln apparently goes to the trouble of digging out his hat and putting it on before chasing him down.
