Plot Summary

John, a white man raised by his uncle, a slaveowner and Billy, a black child born into slavery grew up together and became BFF after Bill was sold away from his mother when he was 8. They made it their mission to free slaves by helping them to escape to the North and many to Canada long before the Underground Railroad.
