Taraji P. Henson Is Remaking Mel Gibson's What Women Want
Paramount Players, the new Paramount Pictures division aimed at developing movies based on properties owned by parent company Viacom, is putting together What Men Want, a gender-swapped remake of What Women Want, the 2000 romantic comedy starring Mel Gibson, with Taraji P. Henson set to star. While it doesn't seem that there is a writer or director on board at this stage, Paramount is already putting this project on the fast track, setting a January 11, 2019 release date. The original movie starred Mel Gibson as a chauvinistic man who begins to hear what women are really thinking about, which will be turned on its ear in this remake.

The story centers on Taraji P. Henson's character, a female sports agent who is always getting bested by her male colleagues. After she gains the power to hear what men are really thinking about, she uses this unique ability to her advantage, as

Mel Gibson Makes His Major Onscreen Comeback in Daddy’s Home 2: Inside His Return from Scandal
After making a comeback with his Oscar-winning directorial effort Hacksaw Ridge last year, Mel Gibson is now stepping back in front of the camera for the new comedy, Daddy’s Home 2.

The film tells the story of a father and stepfather, played by Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg, whose cozy relationship is put to the test when their fathers come to visit for Christmas. Gibson stars as Wahlberg’s old school, tough-guy dad, who is the exact opposite of Ferrel’s overly affectionate dad, played by John Lithgow.

Daddy’S Home 2 – Review

The holiday movie season is in full swing this weekend with a yuletime-set sequel to a recent raucous comedy…again. Yes, it was barely ten days ago when a really early cinema gift arrived at the multiplex, Bad Moms Christmas. Well there are a couple of differences, this new flick is a follow-up to a 2015 release rather than the more recent, just over a year old Bad Moms. Plus the matriarchs’ antics are a tad more adult-themed, since both films garnered much-deserved “R” ratings for raunch. The new arrival is the more “family friendly” PG-13 (it might be even more wholesome than the first one, since there’s less talk of fertility). However both recent installment deal with the chaos and conflict initiated by the visit of the grandparents (Moms had one grandpop’ while this one doesn’t have a granny’ till the last moments). So, put those shopping lists

Is Lethal Weapon a Christmas Movie? Mel Gibson Has the Answer

Is Lethal Weapon a Christmas Movie? Mel Gibson Has the Answer
Is Mel Gibson the Christmas gift that keeps on giving? While out promoting his new film Daddy's Home 2, Gibson dished to E! News in an exclusive interview that this may not be his first official Christmas movie. There's been a lot of buzz that his 1987 classic Lethal Weapon isn't just a story about two undercover cops at odds with their approach to the job, but that it's actually a story about two undercover cops at odds with their approach to the job at Christmas time. This would technically make it a Christmas film in fans' opinions, despite all the action and bloodshed. When asked about this theory, Gibson laughed at how big it was in the '80s to set...

Goonies 2 Isn't Dead Yet, Animated Series Possible
Did Stranger Things Season 2 just revive The Goonies 2? Star of both, Sean Astin, says that a sequel to his 1985 hit is still possible despite other co-stars claiming the idea was dead. And if it does happen, anxiously awaiting fans can thank Bob the Brain for finally pushing it towards reality.

Sean Astin is playing meta in Stranger Things 2. His Radio Shack boss Bob Newby is one of the purest of heart characters Stranger Things has, and his bravery has ignited a new love for the actor that he wasn't expecting. Stranger Things has always been about 80s nostalgia, and it uses Sean Astin to great effect. He helps build a weird kind of trust throughout his run on Netflix's popular show. Now, fans are ready for his Mikey to return.

It was Richard Donner who first confirmed that The Goonies 2 was happening. That was way back in 2014, and since then,

Lethal Weapon 5 Being Developed With Mel Gibson and Danny Glover to Return

There is good news for Lethal Weapons fans if the rumors that are circulating are true as the word is that there is a ‘Lethal Weapon 5’ in the pipeline. Richard Donner is set to return as the director of the film, which makes sense as he has directed the series of films from the beginning. Therefore, nobody else would really know how to make a Lethal Weapon film quite like Donner. Other than this series of

Lethal Weapon 5 might be back on the cards

Simon Brew Oct 27, 2017

Mel Gibson and Danny Glover may be back together, as Warner Bros is toying with Lethal Weapon 5 again...

Since Lethal Weapon 4 was turned around in double quick time (you can read more on that here) and proved a solid hit for Warner Bros in 1998, there have been constant rumours that stars Mel Gibson and Danny Glover, along with director Richard Donner, would reunite for one more outing.

Lots has happened in that time, and Donner hasn’t directed a film since 2006’s 16 Blocks (he is 87 now, so he might prefer putting his feet up). Yet it seems that discussions are underway once again about getting the old gang back together.

Warner Bros is said to be exploring the possibility of Lethal Weapon 5, that would bring Gibson and Glover back for one more outing, and see Donner direct. Channing Gibson, who worked on the screenplay for the last chapter,

Lethal Weapon 5 Finally Happening with Mel Gibson and Danny Glover?
They may be way too old for this, but it looks like Riggs and Murtagh could be making a return to the big screen after nearly 20 years away. That's right, everyone. It looks like Lethal Weapon 5 may actually happen. A new report claims that Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are both in discussions with Warner Bros. about it. What's more is that Richard Donner, who directed the original Lethal Weapon, is set to direct as well. This potential sequel would also see Channing Gibson (Lethal Weapon 4), returning to write the script.

The report claims that the team is "on board" and are all "huddling on the possibility" of doing Lethal Weapon 5 right now with Warner Bros. It doesn't sound like a deal has been officially made yet, but the talks are happening and we very well could see one last entry in the very successful cop movie franchise. Lethal Weapon 4

Mel Gibson, Danny Glover and Richard Donner keen on Lethal Weapon 5

According to Deadline, director Richard Donner and stars Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are keen on another instalment in the action-comedy franchise Lethal Weapon, with Deadline reporting that Lethal Weapon 5 could be on the horizon.

According to the site, Donner is keen to direct, with Gibson and Glover reprising their roles as detectives Riggs and Murtaugh, with Channing Gibson (Lethal Weapon 4) penning the script. Apparently all four are officially on board, should the project move forward.

Question: If Roger Murtaugh was too old for this shit in 1987, then how the hell old is he in 2017?!

The Lethal Weapon series launched in 1987, and was followed by sequels in 1989, 1992 and 1998, with the series grossing $955.2 million worldwide. It also spawned a TV series, which premiered on Fox in 2016 and stars Clayne Crawford as Riggs and Damon Wayans as Murtaugh.

‘Lethal Weapon 5’ Has Interest from Mel Gibson, Danny Glover, and Richard Donner

  • Collider.com
I’ve never been interested in watching the Lethal Weapon TV series, but the concept makes sense. The film franchise had run out of gas, there hadn’t been a new entry since 1998, and the IP still had value as a buddy-cop comedy. Deadline reports that Gibson, Glover, and Donner “are all huddling on the possibility of doing another film for the the Lethal Weapon franchise with Lethal Weapon 4 writer Channing …
