Did You Know?

Though the movie was filmed in 1987, relics of the movie could still be found at the junior high school where it was filmed. The black paint that covered the windows could still be seen until the windows in the school's library were replaced in early 2001. See more »

Extremely obvious rubber pullover head mask on the transformation creature of Mary Lou towards the end of the movie. You can visibly see the rubber neck edging of the pullover mask stand off the actor's neck by at least two inches. This bad makeup job runs all the way across the front of the actors neck as the creature stands up on stage to full stance. See more »

Young Buddy Cooper: [during sex behind the stage] What do you go out with that square for anyway?
Mary Lou Maloney: Because he treats me right, and his daddy's rich. Rich enough to make Billy cool.
Young Buddy Cooper: So, why do you go out with me?
Mary Lou Maloney: Because it's a big free country.
Young Buddy Cooper: Oh! God Bless America!

User Reviews

* * * out of 4.

Clever, inventive, and funny totally non-related sequel to Prom Night takes various elements from just about every horror film and blends them together with successful results. The story deals with a murdered prom queen possessing a young girl thirty years later to avenge her death. Lisa Schrage is funny, scary, and sexy as Mary Lou. Pretty good effects for the most part too. Rated R; Nudity, Sexual Situations, Graphic Violence, and Profanity.
