A subplot of the movie pertains to Adrian's desire to date/be with a Vietnamese girl. Many of the discussions pertaining to this include several crass remarks on female anatomy. One of Adrian's on-air jokes relates the "Hot and wet" environment of South Vietnam to that of ideal conditions if your are "in a woman".Many uses of mild profanity (e.g. Damn, Ass, and a couple Shits)Several (at least 15-20 +) uses of F*ck as well as several God-Damns.
Several scene take place in a Vietnamese bar; which includes plenty of alcohol. Soldiers are seen smoking and with packs tucked in their helmets. Brief references to Marijuana being grown in Vietnam as well as a falsified splicing together of an audio clip which makes it sound like Richard Nixon smokes marijunana and plans to smuggle it out of the country.
After their car is blown off of the road by an explosion, two men are hunted very briefly by the Viet-Cong
