Plot Summary |
Deep in Africa's exotic Momba-Zomba Land, young David Menden-Hall (Over the Top) befriends a mischievous little chimpanzee--only to discover the critter can talk! Soon, his friends Joe (Dom DeLuise) and Mozambo (Jimmie Walker) are going ape trying to save the chatty chimp after he's sold to the circus by crooked police chief Herbert Lom (The Pink Panther)! It's one cliff-hanger after another as the three friends embark on a zany, slapstick safari into non-stop monkeyshines! Written by Wayne Russell |

When that didn't happen, he presented director Boaz Davidson with Deep Roy (who would eventually dress up as a monkey) and brazenly told him, "Meet your new monkey!" See more » |
