Sex & Nudity

1/10

A woman dances in a shirt and panties.

A woman's almost-naked corpse comes to life and starts dancing in a really disturbing way. It is supposed to be comical and it is in old stop motion claymation form. It is also seen from a distance and not erotic in anyway. One breast is exposed but because of the PG level of detail in the clay model no nipples are seen. This is not to be considered nudity and it is very brief and nothing to be concerned about.

Ash makes a brief comical remark about him being a man and Linda being a woman. He hold her close while he says this but then he just ends up offering her champagne. This is not very sexual at all, it really depends on the audiences imagination.

Violence & Gore

9/10

Ash splits Lindas head with a chainsaw; the camera goes off-screen and you see blood splatter the wall. Most of the violence is in a funny way, but is very graphic, disgusting and terrifying all the same.

A man is head explodes

A woman's decapitated

A man cuts his hand.

A man shoot at his hand.

Lots of blood, gore, and green goop, although it is all suppose to be comedic.

Not as violent as the original, and it mostly played for comedic effect.

Profanity

3/10

2 uses of "fuck" but it is very hard to hear., while "shit" is used more times in the movie.

Some other profanity (damn, hell, ass, son of a bitch, you little sucker etc).

1/10

Ash goes to get some champagne but does not drink it.

6/10

Ash and all the appliances-a deer head, lights, book, tables, etc. all begin laughing hysterically. This scene can be viewed as comical, but it can also be really scary and extremely disturbing.

Some might find the film's aim at dark comedy a bit disturbing, such as a scene where the female zombie starts dancing.

There is a horrific amount of blood spraying in some parts.

It's a funny movie, but it still has the creepy and disturbing vibe of the first movie.
