Huston to Follow Heston as Ben-Hur Casting Announced

17 September 2014 4:08 PM, PDT | Alt Film Guide | See recent Alt Film Guide news »

Jack Huston cast in 'Ben-Hur' remake? 'Boardwalk Empire' actor to follow in the footsteps of Ramon Novarro and Charlton Heston Jack Huston, best known for playing World War I veteran-turned-bootlegger-cum-assassin Richard Harrow in the HBO series Boardwalk Empire, may star in the latest Ben-Hur "remake," to be jointly produced by Paramount and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer. Timur Bekmambetov, whose credits include the Angelina Jolie-James McAvoy thriller Wanted and the supernatural cult classic Night Watch, has been attached as director of what is in fact A Tale »

Oscar winner Christopher Walken is ready to terrify small children and to share a live "Tarantella" with America. NBC announced on Sunday (July 13) morning that although the network has yet to secure a Peter Pan or Wendy for its "Peter Pan Live!," the network has cast the "Deer Hunter" star as Captain Hook. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ trailer: New trailer for 2014 ‘Planet of the Apes’ film shows humans are the most dangerous apes of them all (image: Caesar in ‘Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’) The new Dawn of the Planet of the Apes trailer is out. Caesar and his fellow genetically modified apes enjoy a peaceful existence until created-in-God’s-image apes — that’s self-delusional humans — discover the Gmo apes’ hiding place in a lush forest. Enter the military, ever eager to save the world for peace and happiness by way of some heavy-duty weaponry. Needless to say, I’m ardently rooting for Caesar (Andy Serkis) and his fellow Gmo apes. To mark this special occasion, a pair of administrators at Durham Academy in North Carolina created a snow day announcement video. Or rather, “music video,” since they »
