Storyline
A woman's husband apparently has deserted her and their daughter. So she decides to get on with her life which might include dissolving their union and seeing someone else. However, her in-laws, her husband's parents feel that she's acting very hastily, so she leaves their home with her daughter whom they love very much. Dad has left Mom. Mom and daughter (Drew) live in Dad's parents' house. Daughter loves Grand-dad and there ends-up being a power struggle between Mom and Grand-dad. Has that "made for tv" quality. Best part is Drew Barrymore, but her acting is sub-par as it was in most of her films between "E.T" and "Far From Home". gb
