This is vintage Taggart with Mark McManus in the lead role.
Arriving at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre for a beauty conference, Ruth Wilson heads straight to the exhibition car park where her husband is parked. As she approaches the car she draws out a gun and shoots her husband through the car window.
Taggart is called in to investigate what appears to be a straight forward murder by a jealous wife. All is not what it appears however, as the post-mortem reveals that George Wilson was already dead when his wife shot him!
Before the 77 minutes is up all the ingredients that make Taggart Scotland's favorite crime series are revealed. Witty one liners, the Glasgow underworld and the obligatory 3 dead bodies make this a wonderful trip down memory lane.
