Big Shots is one of the movies I always can remember watching as a kid, kids steal car, kids drive the car, kids get in trouble, but it was all in good fun for the late 80's. Big Shots begins with 12 year old Obie (Ricky Busker) as he runs away from his white, upper-class surroundings. He ends up in a particularly dismal Chicago ghetto neighborhood where, after enduring a beating administered by gang members, he is befriended by streetwise black youth Jeremy "Scam" (Darius McCrary, known for Eddie in "Family Matters"). The two become partners in crime, leading to a deadly situation involving a pair professional hit men. Just when it seems things can't get any worse, they do. I always liked this movie, even though I don't think 12 year olds can drive to New Orleans from Chicago, but still pretty entertaining.
