London — As the lineup for the third Sundance London film and music festival is unveiled, Variety talks to John Cooper, director of the Sundance Film Festival, and Trevor Groth, Sundance’s director of programming, about the selection (see below for full lineup).

Sundance London, which runs April 25-27, will include 21 feature films and 18 shorts across five sections, as well as live performances by a number of musical acts, which will be linked to movies screening at the fest, and a series of panel discussions.

Cooper says that when Robert Redford and the Sundance team set up the London event, one of their motivations was to give added exposure to U.S. indie films in the international market.

13 February 2014 5:49 PM, PST | DailyDead | See recent DailyDead news »

Hey Everyone! Thanks for coming back for Part Two of my 14 Favorite Horror Couples countdown. With Valentine’s Day just a day away now, I thought I’d celebrate the occasion the best way I know how- by paying homage to some of my very favorite lovers I’ve enjoyed in the horror genre throughout the years.

Now, let’s dim the lights, queue up the Barry White, relax and get ready to get romantic with the final seven of my Favorite Horror Couples ever! And if you happened to miss part one earlier this week, you can catch up here first.

Once again, in no particular order…

Buffy & Angel- Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel

Forget Dawson and Joey- my favorite star-crossed lovers on The WB in the late 90’s were Buffy (Sarah Michelle Gellar) and Angel (David Boreanaz). I think I may have gone through about four boxes »

Orange Is The New Black Cast Raise Money For Seriously Injured Co-Star

16 January 2014 2:13 PM, PST | TheFabLife - Movies | See recent TheFabLife - Movies news »

Michelle Hurst, who plays the hardened Miss Claudette on the hit Netflix series, Orange Is The New Black, has emerged from a 16-day medically-induced coma following a car accident before the holidays. The news comes as the series launched a Kickstarter-like fundraising campaign on YouCaring.com to help Hurst’s family to pay for medical expenses and time off. Hurst will need the expenses and time off to recover from injuries close to her spine. She’s currently in the ICU at the Unc Chapel Hill Hospital in North Carolina.

It’s unclear when the campaign officially launched but in a matter of hours the site raised over $3,000 surpassing the $5,000 goal. Piper Kerman, author of the memoir on which the series is based, led the rallying cry on Twitter.
