In the film within a film, "Amazon Women on the Moon," which is supposedly occurring in 1980 but made in the 1950s, Butch continually refers to things which have been long gone as though they are still around. The Brooklyn Dodgers, Ebbets Field, and a Studebaker are just a few examples. There is also a reference to the 48 U.S. states, when in actuality there have been 50 states since 1959. See more
