The show is most remembered for the way they disposed of losing contestants. First of all, the contestants were all seated in recliners. If you lost, your chair would be pulled back through a trick wall or your chair would be lifted up and back.

After three seasons on MTV, the show launched a syndicated version in September 1989. The syndicated version lasted two seasons and the MTV version lasted two more seasons as well, both being canceled in 1990.
