We've been getting plenty of real-life delights from the costars during their worldwide press tour, including (but not limited to) some words of praise from Chris and a harrowing round of playground insults. At a recent press junket, though, we also got something else: a hilarious behind-the-scenes story! Read as the two recount their hilarious "sexy" blooper below. Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt Teleport to Some Sort of Glamorous Stranger Things Wonderland

9 December 2016 2:55 PM, PST | Popsugar.com | See recent Popsugar news »

On Friday, Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt popped up at a Passengers photocall in La where they were joined by costar Michael Sheen, writer Jon Spaihts, and director Morten Tyldum. With mirrored walls and hundreds of holiday string lights, it was hard not to imagine that the costars were getting into the spirit of the holiday season . . . in space, of course. We've been following Jen and Chris on their delightful press tour, which has been taking place since the beginning of December. Of course, the whole affair hasn't been without its bumps and shenanigans. While Chris has consistently and hilariously been cropping Jen out of his photos, Jen dealt with a bit of controversy after sharing a story from the Hunger Games set in Hawaii. Passengers hits theaters Dec. 21, so there should be plenty more fun in the weeks to come. Related:Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence's Chemistry Is »

It's down to the final four contestants on Dancing With the Stars!

Ahead of the competition's two-night finale, Et caught up with the remaining season 23 couples in Los Angeles on Friday, where they each revealed what they think it will take to win the coveted mirror ball trophy.

"It's been a very stressful week for [Gleb Savchenko]," country singer Jana Kramer explains. "Like, obviously I'm stressed, too, but he has to choreograph two dances. It's the finals. He's got to step it up in the choreography, so I think he's stressed."

"I was a little bit stressed, but today's better," Gleb adds. "We've got everything almost ready."

Unfortunately, the two won't be reprising their iconic shower dance as many fans expected. "I wish we were," Jana confirms. "They won't let us." Instead, they'll be reprising their sexy Viennese waltz from week one and a new freestyle that the two »

Paging ‘Doctor Strange’ and the ‘Arrival’ of ‘Almost Christmas’: Box Office Weekend Preview

10 November 2016 8:00 AM, PST | Indiewire | See recent Indiewire news »

Led by the Disney/Marvel’s “Doctor Strange” and “Trolls” (20th Century Fox/DreamWorks Animation), the Top 10 box office continues to be strong. And with three new wide releases, totals could be 20 percent over last year.

Those new films — “Arrival” (Paramount), “Almost Christmas” (Universal), and “Shut In” (EuropaCorp) — won’t top the second-week blockbusters. Even if  “Doctor Strange” and “Trolls” each drop 50 percent, they’d gross $42 million and $23 million, respectively. None of the new titles are likely to cross $20 million, though “Arrival” and “Almost Christmas” could come close.

This weekend gets an added boost from Veteran’s Day on Friday, a Federal holiday that gives many school kids the day off. That will boost all grosses, but particularly “Trolls” and also the already well-received “Doctor Strange.”

Lindsay Arnold and Calvin Johnson are continuing to heat up the Dancing With the Stars ballroom, with a little help from their biggest competition -- James Hinchcliffe and Sharna Burgess.

Following their elegant Cats-themed waltz to "Memory" on Monday night, Et caught up with the 22-year-old dance pro, where she spilled all on the former NFL pro's bromance with "Hinchtown."

In addition to their individual couples performances, Johnson and the IndyCar racer also teamed up for a Paso Doble "Team-Up Challenge" during Showstoppers night, and according to Arnold, their rehearsals were far from boring.

"These two guys! James and Calvin in the room together, it's laughter 100% of the time," she dished. "Sharna and I were a little bit worried, because in dress rehearsal, they couldn't stop laughing and we weren't sure if they were going to be able to pull it together for the live »

‘Hacksaw Ridge’ Critical Roundup: Mel Gibson’s Bloody WWII Drama Earns Praise in Venice

4 September 2016 9:29 AM, PDT | Indiewire | See recent Indiewire news »

Mel Gibson’s “Hacksaw Ridge” was a surprise addition to this year’s Venice Film Festival, instantly provoking curiosity as to how his first directorial effort since 2006’s “Apocalypto” would be received amid so many other autumnal prestige pictures. The answer, at least so far, is pretty well — early reviews from Venice tend toward the favorable.

Variety‘s Owen Gleiberman draws attention to Gibson’s battle scenes:

“It immerses you in the violent madness of war — and, at the same time, it roots its drama in the impeccable valor of a man who, by his own grace, refuses to have anything to do with war.”

Alonso Duralde of TheWrap is similarly positive, crediting Gibson’s controlled chaos — while also pointing out a certain irony:

“Gibson has created some of the most breathtakingly exciting wartime footage in recent memory. »

’Nocturnal Animals’ Critical Roundup: Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal are Breathtaking in Tom Ford’s Thriller

3 September 2016 10:07 AM, PDT | Indiewire | See recent Indiewire news »

Seven years after premiering his directorial debut, “A Single Man,” at the Venice Film Festival, fashion designer Tom Ford returns to the festival with his second feature, “Nocturnal Animals.” And judging by the first reviews, he’s done an outstanding job the second time around. Starring Amy Adams and Jake Gyllenhaal, the film is based on “Tony and Susan,” a novel by Austin Wright, and follows the story of an art gallery owner who is haunted by her ex-husband’s novel, a thriller that she interprets as a revenge tale. Here’s what the critics have to say.

IndieWire’s Ben Croll gave the film an A-, writing that Ford’s ambitious second film is a “two-hander with a bite”:

“‘Nocturnal Animals’ is an impressively ambitious effort, one part mean Texas thriller, one part middle-age melodrama, and makes for a meta-textual riddle that is almost as pleasurable to reflect »

Telluride Film Festival: These 7 Films Could Change the Awards Conversation

2 September 2016 8:06 AM, PDT | Indiewire | See recent Indiewire news »

It’s as reliable as a compass: Every year, on the Thursday before Labor Day, the Telluride charter from Los Angeles to Montrose, Colo. is a core sample of hopes for the Oscar season. (The contenders on my flight included executives from Amazon, Netflix, The Orchard, Open Road, Paramount, Plan B, and Fox Searchlight, along with movie stars Rooney Mara and Isabelle Huppert.)

It’s an honor to be selected for Telluride, certainly, but everyone’s nerves are tuned for the films’ receptions. The Labor Day weekend festival has launched a number of eventual best-picture winners, including “Slumdog Millionaire,” “The King’s Speech,” “Spotlight,” “Argo,” and “12 Years a Slave.” The buzz that begins here (or doesn’t) determines strategies as the films move on to future festivals in Toronto and New York.
